As the school year begins, it's no secret that budgets are tight and that music and the arts are on the chopping block. Ironically, California leads the nation in cuts to music and the arts in public schools.

The Learning Process
Both the UC and CSU entrance requirements include one year of participation in a visual or performing art and a foreign language. How will college prep students satisfy these requirements with fewer music classes?
